iPhone 7 Plus Specification 2016 Rumours Updates With Latest Features:
iPhone 7 Plus Specification 2016:
It is noticed in predecessors the Plus versions are slightly larger in size. Therefore it can be predicted that when it comes to the size of iPhone 7 Plus, it will be slightly larger than iPhone 7. It may go upto 5.8 inches or beyond. Talking about the processor, the iPhone 7 Plus could sport 1.5 Ghz dual core Cyclone (ARM v8 based) CPU coupled with A10 chipset which will boost the processing speed faster than ever.
As far as Internal memory is concern the phone could come in different variants having 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB of internal memory. The phone is expected to feature 20 megapixel primary camera with Image Stabilization technology for clearer video and photo shoot and 2 megapixel front camera for self shoot.
The battery has been a major problem in every kind of smartphone. It drains quick on playing games and surfing websites. The tech giant will try to address drainage problem by bringing in some innovative technology with battery power upto 2100 mAh.
iPhone 7 Plus design; In mid October, Piper Jaffrey analyst Gene Munster (who is notorious for his Apple Television predictions, which have so far proved to be inaccurate) has suggested that the iPhone 7 Plus won’t have a Home button, thanks to the new 3D Touch technology found in the iPhone 6s display.
“3D Touch may provide Apple with a way to eliminate the home button on the phone and use the additional space to make the screen bigger or the device smaller,” he said. “One barrier to this could be Touch ID, which is integrated into the home button currently. Apple would need to move the Touch ID reader to potentially the side of the phone to remove the home button.”
iPhone 7 Plus with new headphone jack?
D Jack; When Apple announced the iPhone 5 with a new style of power connector it angered many fans who would now need to purchase an adaptor to fit their old accessories. We could be about to see Lightning-gate all over again with headphone-gate, as it’s rumoured that Apple will shake things up once again with a new style of headphone jack, leaving older accessories incompatible. According to Apple Insider, Apple has patented a new slimmer headphone jack technology called D Jack, which has a diameter of just 2mm.
3D Touch not Force Touch; Thanks to the launch of the iPhone 6S we’ve now got a bit more information about what Apple might have for store with its next smartphone, the iPhone 7, launching next year. First, we found out that the iPhone 6S didn’t have Force Touch, but instead used a new pressure sensor in the screen called 3D Touch. The big difference is that 3D Touch can sensor two degrees of pressure, giving more ways to interact with the phone; Force Touch can only sense between a tap and a hard press. Given that 3D Touch is in the new phones it makes sense that it will appear in the iPhone 7 Plus and not Force Touch as I had previously believed.
iPhone 7 Plus with waterproof protection? It’s possible the new iPhone 7 Plus could be waterproof. In March 2015 a new patent revealed that Apple is investigating ways to make future iPhones waterproof without needing to compromise on the design, a change that never made it into the 6s and 6s Plus. Instead of adding armour to the outside of the iPhone to protect it from water, the method would coat electronic components found inside the iPhone in a protective waterproof material that would prevent them from getting damaged should water find its way in. Clever
Anti-overheating tech; Some iPhone 6s users have been complaining that their Touch ID fingerprint sensors have been overheating, causing the home button to become “burning hot,” but that should soon be a thing of the past if Apple’s latest patent is anything to go by.
On 13 October, a new Apple patent was published by the United States Patent and Trademark Office that describes a method of automatically capping its power usage in order to cool down. It would use a built-in temperature sensor that would monitor the heat of the iPhone and adjust its power usage accordingly.
This tech could well make its way into the iPhone 7 Plus in order to address the overheating issues
As we discuss later in this article, an Apple patent has revealed that the company is investigating ways to build the Touch ID sensor into the screen itself, so Munster’s theory doesn’t seem implausible, but as proven with his Apple television predictions, Munster isn’t always right… even he says that the odds of a buttonless iPhone 7 Plus are 50%
iOS 10; iOS 10 is also likely to introduce new features at a software level. Among the features we’re hoping to see in iOS 9: improved parental controls and group FaceTime calls.
Memory; The iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Plus likely won’t arrive until late next year, but the rumor mill is already picking up speed around Apple’s next smartphones. Now a new report from supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (via AppleInsider) suggests Cupertino will pack even more power into the iPhone 7 Plus.
Of course, every iPhone is at least a little more powerful than the model before it, but when it comes to RAM that’s not always the case. It took years for Apple to jump from 1GB of memory to the 2GB found in the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. According to Kuo, the company plans to push that number to 3GB next year with the iPhone 7 Plus, though not for the smaller iPhone 7.
